Azerbaijan has a habit of delivering... it didn't fail.

George Russell owned the weekend, Fastest in practice, pole position, fastest lap and winner. He had a nine second lead until the safety car was called out, at which point Verstapen piled on the pressure, but Russell was the victor.... just!

Colapinto caused carnage by late braking into his team mate and took out Norris along the way. Albon put it in the wall, and as is now traditional, both Astons retired

The FGP

We are moving towards the business end of the season, with still no idea how many races or where they might be! None-the-less, Mykonos Sandals still lead the Championship, but there's been a big shift, Mama Weer All Crazee Now didn't have a good race but are still second, Sweet & Sticky played a high scoring bonus race and have leapt up the table to third, knocking Wobblybot Racing down a spot to fourth.... and with more bonus races to be played from other teams, Wobblybot may not hold that place

  Malaysia Update 

Malaysia is an extra race and acting as the Bahrain GP. With no announcement made regards the last two races of the season, in the FGP Malaysia will score points as any other race but no money will be won. (unless the FIA make an announcement before the race)
