Details regards point scoring are as shown on the Points Scoring Page.

Race Result Changes, etc

Top | Result Changes | Driver Changes
Transfers | Cancelled Races | Results | Management

  • A Driver/Car that does not finish within the last few laps will often be classified within the official FIA result. Under such circumstances the finish position in FGP will equal that of the FIA Classified Result.
  • The FGP result will be based upon that of the race, together with any amendments that may be imposed up to Thursday Midnight before the next race (Last Race: Midnight after the race).
  • Appeals and any F1 sanctions, point penalties etc, after the above time/date will have no effect on FGP (Subject to below).

Note Regards Reduced F1 Points
If a race is run in a restricted form and less than full F1 points awarded, due to weather etc, the points system of FGP will not be affected, full FGP points under such circumstances will still be given.

Driver Changes, Replacements, etc

Top | Result Changes | Driver Changes
Transfers | Cancelled Races | Results | Management

  • If a driver is replaced, injured or does not race for any other reason (including a ban imposed by the FIA), then any FGP team that has that driver will automatically get his replacement (Including within Transfer Teams).
  • The replaced driver, if desired and if within the transfer period, may be transferred out (subject to transfer rules).
  • If a Constructor is banned then no points will be scored for that constructor in FGP teams. Obviously the drivers of that constructor will also be affected. FGP players may, if desired and within the transfer period, transfer cars and drivers (subject to transfer rules).
  • In the unlikely circumstance that a Constructor (or Driver) is banned but continues to race, the FGP will not be affected by such a ban and Constructors (and Drivers) will still score all FGP points.
  • If a real team does not compete in any number of races for any reason other than a ban, or withdraws from Formula One then the FGP teams that include that team will not get replacements. However, under such circumstances you may transfer the cars and drivers if the transfer window is open. If not open you must wait.
  •  If a driver transfers mid-season to another F1 team you will get his replacement. This rule also covers when two (or more) drivers switch between teams. This includes within your transfer sections.
    • Example: If you have Hamilton (at Mercedes) and he switches with Norris (at McLaren), you now get Norris at Mercedes as he has filled the Mercedes driver 1 slot.
    • For clarity: You picked 'Driver Slot 1, or Driver Slot 2 or a team; therefore you have the driver who occupies that slot at any given time)

Transfers and 'Fees'

Read 'A Guide To Transfers' for details, information and advice

Transfers 1

  •   One Element from Transfers 1 (T1) may be used after Race 6.
    • Transfer 1 is Free (No points deductions)
    • Only one element from T1 may ever be used.
    • The transfer can be made after Race 6, but must be BEFORE Race 7. After this T1 Transfers may no longer be used, and anything in it is 'Locked'.

Transfers 2

  • Elements from Transfers 2 (T2) may be used after Race 12 until the end of the season (T3 'fee' applies after Race 18).
    • T2 Transfers are free (up to T3)
    • You must adhere to the rules regarding a maximum of only TWO elements allowed in your Race Team for each team.

Transfers 3

  • Elements from Transfers 3 (T3) may be used after Race 18 until the end of the season.
    • Any Transfers made after Race 18 (including any from T2) will cost 375 Championship Points per transfer
    • You must adhere to the rules regarding a maximum of only TWO elements allowed in your Race Team for each team.

Transfers: The Details

  • All Transfers to your Race Team must adhere to the rule of no more than TWO elements from a real F1 team.
  • No Drivers may be placed in their own F1 cars at any time.
  • You may transfer One element (Driver/Car) per race from your Transfers into your Race Team.
  • Points will be deducted from your accumulated Championship Points (not Race Points). The ‘Fee’ points are deducted from the Championship with immediate effect. (T3 only)
  • You may not move already placed drivers between cars in your Race Team, unless it is to facilitate the drivers in their own F1 car rule.
  • There is no limit as to how many transfers you make in your team within the season, subject to the Transfers 1 rules above, and T3 fees.
  • Once a Transfer is made (FGP Manager notified), the driver/car must stay in that position for at least one race.
  • The FGP Manager must be notified of transfers by email, by the Thursday before the race (FGP Manager may change the day and times at his discretion).
    • Note: This will be earlier for Races that Practice Sessions start prior to the Friday of Race Weekends. The FGP Manager will notify players of such times when required.
  • Transfers will come into effect the race after notification.
  • Please be aware, once you inform the FGP Manager of a transfer that driver or car must stay in your race team for at least one race.

Note: After transfers, Race Team values may exceed £65-Million.

Cancelled Races

Transfers | Cancelled Races | Results | Management

In the event of a race being cancelled, the following will apply:

  • The Prize money from that race will be distributed within the Race and Championship Prize fund. All players will be notified of the new Prize amounts. These new figures will also be backdated.
  •  If Qualifying takes place but the race does not, the entire FGP race will be considered cancelled and no prizes will be issued for it. The prize money will be re-distributed as above.
  • All other changes will be applied as required (The FGP Managers decision being final).

Results

The results of each race will be published via this website. Results will usually be issued as soon as possible after the race, although may be later from time to time. The FGP Manager will inform everyone of this.
