Charity Teams
As with previous years the FGP Season will have two charity
teams entered to run alongside all the other teams. Any money
they win, both in races and the championship, will be donated to charity.
These two teams are being run as a memorial to Steve Hexter, who sadly passed away under tragic
circumstances. He is missed by many of us.
The player name of each team is listed as 'Charity Team'
(1 and 2), and have team names
that Steve used continually in both the FGP and the many Quizzes
he attended:
- Hexy's Midnight Runners
- Hexy's Couch Potatoes
The teams are selected and managed by myself (Kevin)
alongside a few of Steve's friends here.
The two charities supported in 2024 are:

Steve Hexter
Steve took part in the Fantasy Grand Prix since it's very
first season. Winning the Championship twice, in 1997 and then
in 1999.
He loved his cars, loved Karting and loved Formula 1. Most
importantly he loved his family and family life. He was a good
friend to all who knew him.
