Race 5: Saudi Arabia
Sunday 20 April
Verstapen with another stunnng ple, Piastri 1.100 of a second
behind for second on the grid with Russell in third. Norris hit
the wall and started from tenth.
A fierce start and Piastri edges past Verstapen who takes it
wide off the circuit to rejoin ahead, but the stewards put a
stop to that by giving him a five second penalty. It cost him
the win as Piastri takes the lead after the pit stops and
penalty taken, to take it to the end of the race. Russell drops
back complaining of tyre trouble for a good part of the race.
Norris comes forward and is up to fourth but can't get past
Leclerc who takes his first podium place of the season.
The Jeddah circuit is not for the feint hearted, as both Tsunoda
and Gasley discovered on lap one as they collide and both run
into the wall. Gasley broke his car, Tsunoda limped back to the
pits but it was all over.
Both Sainz and Albon have a good race, with both Williams cars
in the points.
In The FGP
Pole Dancing take another win and it's enough to take them to
the top of the Championship. That's now five races down, and
five different FGP Championship leaders!
Quite abit of shifting up and down the Leaderboard.
The next race is in the bling and blam world of Miami, and
this time round it's a Sprint race, our second of the season.
After Miami it will be time for Transfers 1, which given a lot
of players have chosen the likes of Alonso, Aston Martin and
Alpine as potential replacements, a lot of head scratching may
be required!
